Formseal 3000X
Formseal 3000 X is a 1.5mm thick self adhesive, bituminous membrane, protected with a LDPE or HDPE film.
Formseal 3000 X consists of a soft self adhesive compound, with excellent elongation properties and a cross laminated high density polyethylene protection film. This special polyethylene film, unique in its kind, owns both strong transversal and longitudinal characteristics; providing a uniform reaction on mechanical stresses with an elongation near 500%, sustains various thermal conditions and is high puncture and chemical agents resistant.

Uses. Ideal for waterproofing in general, this membranes is available for new construction and retrofit waterproofing of basements, foundations, tunnels as well as terraces and coverings. For the two last mentioned applications, it is necessary to protect the membrane for exposure to UV rays. In fact, Formseal is cold applied, without the use of naked flames or hot air.

Proofex GPE
Proofex GPE is a cold applied self-adhesive waterproofing membrane sheet, 1.6 mm thick, comprising a polymer modified bitumen layer, bonded on to an outer surface of polyethylene film.
The polymer bitumen adhesive layer is protected on the underside by a release film which is removed just prior to the application of Proofex GPE to the primed substrate.
A peel-off selvedge strip is provided enabling a bitumen to bitumen bond at edge laps.
The applied membrane then needs to be immediately protected from UV light and from mechanical damage during subsequent back filling.
Uses.To provide a continuously bonded waterproof membrane for building and civil engineering structures. Typical applications include basements, ground slabs, roofs, foundations, lift pits and subways. Durability covers weathering and adhesion characteristics

Selftene
The membranes of the Selftene series are thick, self-adhesive, reinforced membranes that can be applied with pressure at ambient temperature. To be bonded they don't need any other materials or need to be torched on, although at temperatures below 10°C they can be heated slightly on the underside to help the self-adhesion using hot air or a “light” torching action.
Both membranes are made up of an elastomeric polymer-bitumen mix made of distilled bitumens selected for industrial use and a pool of styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomers. The mix is elastic and resistant to sudden changes in temperature and ageing. The membrane is reinforced with composite non-woven polyester fabric, stabilised with fibreglass, which gives the membrane a high mechanical resistance and excellent dimensional stability at high temperatures.
The Selftene membranes have the underside coated with a special elastomeric mass that is adhesive at ambient temperature so the membrane can be applied by pressure. This consists of a special mix of selected Venezuelan bitumens, tackifying resins and radial and linear thermoplastic elastomeric polymers. The use of special bitumens selected for the purpose, guarantees the duration of the adhesive capacity in time.
The optimal behaviour in cold weather of Selftene does not however mean you can use the self-adhesive membrane at low temperatures without taking precautions. Below +10°C, also depending on the humidity of the air and the support, particular care should be taken during application, if necessary using equipment for heating. In any case the temperature of +5°C is the limit for laying the product.
The adhesive underside of both membranes is protected with a silicone film that should be removed during application. Also the upper face of Selftene Base/P is protected with a silicone film, which, once removed, lets you realise self-adhesive joints on both the head and the sides without waste. The opposite edges of the two bottom and top surfaces are protected by another silicone band which makes laying the product easier and should only be removed when making joints. On the upper face of Selftene Base/P other self-adhesive membranes can be applied after the silicone film has been removed, or other membranes can be torched on.
 Autotene Base/P is finished on the top surface with a fine sand, to which cap layers can be torched, or it can be used as a cap sheet itself with a UV coating applied over.
The upper face of Mineral Selftene/P is self-protected with slate chips, with the exception of a lateral strip for the overlap, which is protected by silicone film. While the overlaps of Selftene Base/P are always sealed by self-adhesion, in the case of Mineral Selftene/P the head overlaps the slate finish so should be bonded with an adhesive paste HEADCOLL applied between the parts to be sealed.
The SELFTENE membranes are used to create thick waterproofing layers with reinforced membranes on flat and sloping roofs or below ground tanking  where it is impossible to use naked flames or on heat-sensitive substrates that could easily catch fire, such as foamed polystyrene panels,, wood roofs, etc. ,and where the use of the torch can be dangerous for the operators such as in poorly ventilated or cramped places such as underground excavations or foundation walls, etc.
The MINERAL self-protected type is designed to be left visible, while BASE/P should be used for applications that aren't exposed to the light or as a base layer under other membranes.

Flintlastic
The Flintlastic SA products can be used in various system configurations, depending upon the roof requirements. For small projects such as decks, additions and porches, two-ply systems comprised of Flintlastic Base and Flintlastic SA Cap sheet may be appropriate in conjunction with FlintFlash™ SA flashing membrane For larger roofs and commercial applications, three-ply systems comprised of Flintlastic Base covered with Mid Ply and Cap are recommended.
Roofs and decks must have proper drainage.
The advantages of self-adhering membrane are ease of application, minimum of installation tools or equipment needed, cleanliness, and the fact that no hot asphalt torches are required for installation.
CertainTeed recommends the use of Flintlastic SA Base in conjunction with all self-adhering membrane roof installations. The SA Base can be mechanically attached to nailable substrates or applied using hot asphalt (non-nailable substrates). For non-nailable substrates where use of hot asphalt to adhere the base sheet may not be appropriate, Flintlastic SA Mid Ply may be used in lieu of the SA Base to surfaces properly primed with Flintlastic SA Primer.
