Dodgy Roofs

dodgy adjective Brit. informal second-rate, third-rate, substandard, low quality, awful, dreadful, not good or reliable.

Because we specialise in re roofing, we get to see some fairly dodgy roofs from time to time, mostly failure is due to poor maintenance, bad workmanship, general wear and tear/age, or basic bad design in the first place.
No roof lasts forever, the average correctly installed and maintained membrane roof will last 20-25 years, anything beyond that is a bonus

Here are a few examples of roofs we have come across over the past few years. In each case we explain the cause of failure and offer a solution to bring the roof back to good watertight condition.
